For NASS: 1,935 cows and bulls sold with 69 percent going to packers; Last week: 1,654 with 63 percent going to packers; Last year: 2,823 with 43 percent going to packers.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder heifers mostly steady to 1.00 lower. Demand mostly moderate for all classes. Steer calves sold steady to 8.00 lower and heifer calves steady to 10.00 lower. Many barns experiencing larger numbers this week

as warmer weather encourages cattle movement. Warm weather is expected across the trade region for most of next week, with cooler temps dipping into the 70's towards the end of the week. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 7.00 lower. Demand light to moderate.
