Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 3 auctions: Apache Special Cow Sale, McAlester, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa. Ada, Apache, OKC West, and Woodward closed for the holidays. Feeder steers sold 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 1.00-3.00 higher. Steer calves and heifer calves sold 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand good for all classes. Slaughter cows sold steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls mostly steady to 2.00 lower. Total head count includes cows that sold from a special sale at the Apache Auction the previous Saturday.
