*FOR NASS* 2,065 cows and bulls sold with 41 percent going to packers. Last week: 2,880 cows and bulls sold with 71 percent going to packers. Last year: 2,848 cows and bulls sold with 53 percent going to packers.

Compared to last week: Combined Weighted average for 7 auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, OKC, OKC West, Tulsa, and Woodward. Feeder steers 1.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 5 higher. Steer and heifer calves lightly tested with instances of 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand good for all classes. Spring weather has continued this week with warm temperatures and thunderstorms moving across the state. Some areas experiencing severe weather. Thunderstorms are expected for later next week. Slaughter cows sold steady to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Packer demand good.
