Compared to last week, yearling feeders steers less than a 1000 lbs sold sold 10.00 to 15.00 lower, with a 1035 lbs steer trading steady. Yearling heifers sold 8.00 lower. Demand was moderate on the only sale reported. Feedlots were very slow to trade show-list with a few jumping the gun on Monday when the CME live cattle boards took a huge hit. Few slaughter cattle were traded the rest of the week. MPR showed Friday afternoon weekly total of negotiated cash and grid base at 6,282 head for the week. Dressed prices ranged from 360.00 to 368.00 with the higher prices at the week's close.
