Compared to last week steers less than 700 lbs sold 10.00 to 20.00 lower, over 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Heifers less than 700 lbs sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower, 7 weights sold 15.00 lower and over 800 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good, With good to very good demand for replacement heifers and bred heifers and cows. Even though most of the state is very dry cattlemen are optimistic that mother nature will be sending some much needed moisture in the near future for spring and summer grass growth. Area feedlot sales sold 3.00 lower on dressed sales at 380.00 and live sales sold 2.00 lower at 240.00.
