Compared to last week, steer calves less than 500 lbs sold 30.00 lower, 500 to 800 lbs sold 10.00 to 15.00 lower, over 800 lbs sold 20.00 lower on a light test. Heifers less than 500 lbs sold steady, 500 to 900 lbs sold 10.00 to 20.00 lower lower, 9 weight sold firm on a thin test. Demand was moderate to good. Downward pressure continues on the calf and feeder markets. Slaughter steers and heifers followed the same downward trend in the market with live sales 5.00 to 6.00 lower from 218.00 to 219.00 and dressed sales sold 8.00 to 10.00 lower from 340.00 to 347.00.
