Compared to last week, steers less than 600 lbs sold 9.00 to 15.00 higher, over 600 lbs sold steady to 7.00 higher instances 12.00 higher on 7 weights. Heifers less than 700 lbs sold steady to 9.00 higher over 700 lb sold 6.00 to 7.00 higher. Demand was good to very good throughout the week. Most auctions had large crowds of order buyers along with some farmer/feeders procuring cattle. Also, internet buying was active. It didn't matter to the buyers on the fall calves if they were weaned or bawlers. Just getting possession of lightweight cattle was their main goal. Feedlots sold live sales 4.00 to 6.00 higher from 212.00 to 214.00 and dressed sales sold 5.00 to 12.00 higher from 332.00 to 340.00.
