Compared to last week steers less than 500 lbs sold 8.00 higher, 500 to 700 lbs sold 15.00 higher, 700 to 800 lbs sold 7.00 higher and 8 weights sold steady. Heifers less than 700 lbs sold 4.00 to 10.00 higher, 7 weight sold 2.00 higher and 8 weights sold 8.00 lower. Early week trading was mostly inactive due to artic cold air with near normal reporting on Thursday through Saturday. Demand was good at weeks close since sales were cancelled early in the week buyers were itching to get out a procure cattle. Especially light weight stocker cattle and for top quality heifers. Nebraska feedlots traded lower on the week live sales sold 3.00 to 3.50 lower from 199.50 to 200.00 and dressed sales sold 5.00 to 6.00 lower at 315.00.
