Compared to last week steers under 800 lbs sold steady, over 800 lbs sold 7.00 to 10.00 lower. Heifers sold unevenly steady throughout the week. Demand was moderate to good. Some feedlot saying, they are filled up or will be when all the video cattle come in taking a little steam off the yearling market. However, cattle continue to sell very well. Nebraska feedlots held firm until Friday when they traded for mostly steady money. Live sales at 188.00 and dressed sales at 295.00. Most crops look good across the state. There are some dryland fields that are looking stressed. But they still should produce some bushels when harvested this fall. Haying is till tough for producers as little showers comes along when hay is almost dry enough to bale. There are a lot of tons of Utility and fair quality hay across the reporting areas.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
