Compared to last week steer and heifers calves sold unevenly steady. Yearling steers sold steady to 3.00 higher and yearling heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was moderate for calves with good demand for yearling feeder cattle. Some of the calves sold with fall precondition shots. Most of the yearlings came off of short summer grass. Nebraska feedlot managers sold lives cash sales 2.00 higher than last week at 107.00 and dressed sales 2.00 to 3.00 higher from 167.00 to 168.00. Fall harvest is in full swing with earlage and high moisture corn going to feedlots. Dry corn and soybeans getting combined with alfalfa producers cutting and baling fourth cutting.
