Not enough comparable offerings this week for a adequate market comparison. Last year at this time, Nebraska was effected by the "bomb cyclone" and several reporting auctions shut down due that the devastation in brought across the state. Looking back to two years ago in 2018 was a typical week for reporting as the weekly total come in at 23,000 head. Weather across the state was seasonal pleasant on the most part until Thursday with about every type of moisture fell upon us. Some areas had rain, sleet, hail and snow throughout the day with bitter winds dropping the windchill below zero into Friday morning. More spring like weather is in the forecast and the snow should be melted off by weeks close. Demand for hay increased slightly this week as some ethanol plants have slowed way down on production and limited distillers is leaving the plants. Area feedlots are looking at and starting to procure some baled hay to be ground into their rations. Feedlot sales ranged from 105.00-112.00 live and dressed sales from 170.00-175.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
