Compared to last week steers under 900 lbs sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher and over 900 lbs sold 2.00 higher. Heifers under 800 lbs sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher and over 800 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Demand was good the last seven days especially, on cattle suited for summer turn out. Moderate to good demand for the bred cows and heifers. Most auctions noted active bidding and buying from the internet. Feedlot sales sold steady to 1.00 higher from 119.00-120.00 live and dressed sales sold mostly steady at 190.00. Ole man winter showed up across most of the state on Wednesday with light to moderate snow in many areas but by the weekend most of the new snow accumulation should be melted.
