Compared to last week most lots of calves sold steady except 600 lbs steers sold 2.00 lower. Yearling steers sold unevenly steady on a light test. Light weight heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher with weights over 600 lbs trending 2.00 to 6.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good. Nebraska feedlots sold some of their show-list Wednesday with live sales from 118.00-120.00 and dressed sales at 187.00. Several feedlots passed current bids with the Dec board trading around 120.00-121.00 range many felt there market ready, high grading cattle should be bought sell for more money. Nebraska saw it first big snow of the season Tuesday, with some areas getting 7-10 inches of wet snow. Some parts of the state are to get blasted with blizzard conditions at weeks close.
