Compared to two weeks ago, steers under 600 lbs sold 15.00 to 20.00 higher, 600 to 800 lbs sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher, over 800 lbs sold 10.00 to 15.00 higher. Heifers under 600 lbs sold 7.00 to 9.00 higher, 600 to 800 lbs sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher, 800 lbs heifers sold 18.00 higher. Offerings included several top notch strings of weaned fall calves and yearlings coming off of summer grass. Bidding was active on Wednesday and Thursday. Interesting note , on average, the 700-1000 yearlings sold 4.00-5.00 lower than same week last year and 700 to 900 lbs heifers sold 3.00 to 6.00 lower. Feedlot trade very slow to trade this week very few sales have come across the wire.
