Receipts 5,664Last week 13,952Year ago 6,992

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 5.00 to 10.00 lower, except 450-500 lbs and 650-700 lbs steady. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Very good demand for light weight cattle to make yearlings of, and for replacement quality heifers, moderate to good for heavier cattle bound for finishing yards. The arctic storm that came midweek caused many producers to cancel their consignments as dangerous temps and windchills moved into the region.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the North Dakota barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
