Only 1 reported auction this week as the marketing season winds down. Very good demand for feeder cattle as the cash fed cattle market continues to advance, all the way up to 224.00. The feeder cattle market is very active as bids are easy to find as there is great optimism amongst cattle feeders. Grass turnout time is very near, keeping demand for cattle to background on grass very high. There was some rain this week across the state but still drought conditions persist, primarily in the western part of the state.
