Good demand for steer and heifer calves, yet the market was not near as active on the light weight steers as it was a week ago. There is still great interest in buying lightweight calves, but the market cooled, especially on the lightweight steers. 190.00 cash fed cattle helped to support the feeder cattle market, but the back months at 178.00 to 180.00 is causing some concern.
