Compared to last week: Steer calves under 500 lbs 7.00 to 10.00 lower, over 500 lbs unevenly steady. Heifer calves under 500 lbs 3.00 lower, except 400-450 lbs 2.00 higher, over 550 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Good demand steer and heifer calves this week, dependent upon flesh condition as calves carrying a light flesh condition are highly sought after. Cash fed cattle continue to move higher, which lends support to the feeder market however costs of gain are a real corn as new crop corn is just shy of 7.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the North Dakota barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
