Compared to last week: Feeder cattle too lightly tested last week to offer a good comparison with this week. Very good demand remains for yearling steers and heifers as farmer feeders are beginning their corn harvest and are ready to buy yearlings off grass while they are available. CME Live Cattle contracts stopped their declines and posted gains this week which helped to support the feeder cattle market. Very few spring born calves being offered for sale yet.
