Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Moderate to good demand for all weights of steers and heifers. There has been much uncertainty about the coming months of the cash fed cattle market yet there were plenty of buyers who were ready to buy cattle this week. The volatility in the futures contracts has made it difficult for cattle feeders to make marketing decisions. With Jun and Aug Live Cattle futures just above 100.00 there is great concern that large losses will occur for outgoing fed cattle.
