Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher, feeder heifers steady to 3.00 lower. Moderate to good demand for feeder cattle this week. Plenty of buyers ringside actively bidding wanting to get cattle placed on feed. Less interest in buying a heifer this week as cattle feeders would rather feed a steer. Subzero temps made it difficult for some producers to get cattle shipped to town, this cold weather also has greened the cattle up as it is difficult for them to maintain their body condition. Large runs expected next week as that will be the final chance to sell feeder cattle before the end of the calendar year.
