Compared to last week's limited test of yearling feeder steers and heifers: Feeder steers 2.00 to 6.00 higher, feeder heifers steady to 4.00 higher. Good demand for yearling steers and heifers after last week's bullish Cattle On Feed report confirmed much lower feedyard placements. Cattle feeders are feeling less unsure about the direction of the market and more willing to step into the action and buy some cattle to feed. Live Cattle futures made a substantial turnaround as well this week, Oct moved back above the 100.00 mark and Dec moved back closer to 110.00. With the feeder cattle market moving higher feeder cattle producers are also feeling somewhat better about the market and are willing to sell cattle now.
