Compared to last week, steers sold 2.00 to 10.00 higher; while heifers sold uneven from 4.00 lower to 4.00 higher. Demand was good to very good as buyers were procuring needs with only one week left of marketing prior to the holiday break. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. This past week in the hay market, Hay movement was mostly steady this past week. Increased moisture across the state limited some producers' ability to move hay. There is still an abundance of grinder-quality hay, putting slight pressure on prices. High-quality alfalfa remains in high demand and is moving quickly. This is the last report of 2025 for the Kansas Weekly livestock Summary.
