Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold uneven; 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 7.00 to 10.00 higher. Limited trading of Feedlot trade reported in Kansas as of this report at 204.00 as the previous week's trading was at 208.00. This past week in the hay market, demand was light, and trades remained slow. Prices were mostly steady with the exception for dairy alfalfa which was $.05/point RFV lower for most regions. All other hay is also feeling a downward pressure as the new hay season is fast approaching. There were two days with notable precipitation events during the period on March 27th and March 29th. Isolated showers and thunderstorms dropped .50"-3.00" inches of precipitation across the state.
