Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction reports included Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand was Moderate to Good. Feeder steers under 600 lbs sold steady to 8.00 higher with instances of sharply higher, 600-700 lb steers were 3.00 lower to sharply lower on a light test, and steers over 700 lbs were 11.00 to 17.00 higher with instances of sharply higher. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher with instances of sharply higher, 550-700 lb heifers 9.00 to 15.00 lower and heifers over 700 lbs sold uneven. Dairy feeder heifers over 800 lbs sold 5.00 to 9.00 lower on a light test. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher.
