Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were Moderate to Good. Feeder steers under 400 lbs sold sharply higher on a light test, 400-800 lbs sold mostly 1.00 to 8.00 higher with instances of 10.00 to 13.00 higher, and over 800 lbs were too thinly tested for trend. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs sold 1.00 to 7.00 lower with instances of 13.00 lower, 550-800 lbs were mostly 1.00 to 6.00 higher with instances of 11.00 higher. Dairy feeder heifers over 950 lbs sold mostly steady to 3.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Average dressing slaughter bulls sold 5.00 lower.
