Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand light to good. Feeder steers under 400 lbs sold sharply higher on a light test and over 400 lbs mostly 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs sold mostly 1.00 to 6.00 higher, 600-750 lbs 7.00 to 12.00 lower and over 750 lbs mostly 5.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder dairy heifers over 800 lbs sold mostly steady to 6.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher; average dressing slaughter bulls 5.00 higher.
