Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 5 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock, Livestock Exchange and Centennial Livestock. Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Feeder steers under 600 lbs sold mostly 1.00 to 5.00 lower, 600-850 lbs mostly steady to 3.00 higher, and over 800 lbs mostly 5.00 to 7.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold uneven, 500-750 lbs steady to 6.00 lower, and over 750 lbs lightly tested, trading 4.00 higher. Feeder dairy heifers weighing 850-1250 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher with instances of 8.00 to 9.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows and bull sold steady to 2.00 lower.
