Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Centennial Livestock Auction, Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand moderate to good. In the slaughter cows and bulls supply, average dressing Breakers traded mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher, average dressing Boners mostly steady, average dressing Leans mostly 1.00 higher, and average dressing Bulls were sharply lower. Replacement cattle too thinly tested to trend. Auction markets across the state will begin their fall run starting next week. The next available report will be Friday, September 11, 2020.
