Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week; steer calves under 600 lbs traded mostly steady on comparable trades. Steer calves over 600 lbs traded 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Heifer calves traded 4.00 to 6.00 higher with instances 11.00 higher on heifers over 700 lbs. A nice offering with several load lots also very active on package trade. Warmer weather in the area with snow and rain showers bringing much needed moisture to the area. Sale again next Wednesday.
