As filed

Lower run than last week's Graded Special, decreasing by 2/3's and half of the comparable run last year. Good quality of Feeders with a larger proportion grading number one muscled compared to the smaller numbers in the shoulder grades. Despite a lower offering, attendance and demand remained steady compared to last week. Prices rose slightly for the lighter Feeder Steers, $4-$19 per cwt, strong competition underscoring the quality. We saw fewer head and a lower demand for the heavier end of the run. Heifers sold mostly steady to $3-$7 higher than last week in the heavier breaks. Truly a study in quality over quantity firming up today's trends.
