Compared to 2 weeks ago Tuesday at the same market, Stocker steers less than 550 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, stocker and feeder steers over 550 lbs and all heifers 1.00-6.00 lower. Feeder cattle futures stayed up by triple digits for the close, but did end the Tuesday session off the highs. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was $1.19 weaker on 10/1 at $152.53. Trade active with good demand both from ringside and internet buyers.
