Compared to last Thursday, not enough stocker or feeder cattle offered this week for accurate trends. CME Feeders stayed in the black during the afternoon pullback, going home UNCH to 37 cents higher on the day. The CME Feeder Cattle Index from 2/08 was $182.53, up by 24. Slaughter cows steady. Not enough Slaughter bulls for accurate trends. Trade active with good demand. Weekly Export Sales data showed 16,412 MT of beef bookings from the week that ended 2/02. That was down from 2 weeks of +25k MT sold, and was 15% below the sales from the same week last year. USDA had 15,580 MT shipped during the week, leaving the accumulated export 9.6% ahead of last year's record at 75,078 MT.
