Compared to last Thursday, stocker and feeder cattle 1.00-8.00 higher. Buyer attendance was good. At the close, CME feeder cattle were up $1.85 to $2.67 leaving the March contract at a net $2.45 gain for the week so far. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was back up by 53 cents on 2/01 to $180.90. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls firm. Trade very active with very good demand.
