Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded 2.00 to 7.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves suitable for grazing traded 5.00 to 10.00 higher with instances of up to 20.00 higher on cattle under 500 pounds. Trading activity was active on good buyer demand. Slaughter cows and bulls traded mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher on a light test. Some snow over the weekend provided some much needed moisture to the trading region., with temperatures quickly warming back up to above seasonal. However, the moisture boost may dissipate with high winds are in the forecast for Friday with sustained winds from 35-50 mph with gusts ranging from 60-80 mph.
