Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Calves were too lightly tested last week for a market trend. Trading activity was active on good buyer demand. Quality was very attractive, with the majority of the supply consisting of yearling cattle straight off the wheat or consignments from the Texas Angus Breeders sale. Slaughter cows too lightly tested for a market trend. Slaughter bulls mostly 5.00 higher. Weather in the form of high winds, snow, and rain hindered some cattle from coming to town today.
