Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves sold mostly 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Not enough comparable sales feeder steers or heifers for an adequate market trend. Quality was very attractive with the majority of the supply consisting of weaned calves with good shot programs. Additionally, there were several large drafts of NHTC cattle on offer. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to weak. Buyer demand and trading activity were moderate to good.
