Feeder Heifers 350 - 400 lbs sold 8.00 higher; 400 - 500 lbs, 7.00 to 10.00 lower; 500 - 550 lbs, 3.00 lower; 550 - 700, 7.00 lower; 600 - 650 lbs, 10.00 higher; 650 - 700 lbs, steady to 2.00 higher. Today's sale, featuring Red Angus, had a nice offering of large strings and load lots of quality calves, that sold on a very active market. Several large packages of Red Angus Heifers, that topped the market in their weight range, were likely headed back to breeding programs. Buyers are still looking for spring calves that have vaccinations, which most of the offerings carried. The next Spring Calf Special is November 11th.
