Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers under 1000 lbs were too lightly tested to establish a market trend. Steers over 1000 lbs sold steady on a very light test. Heifers under 900 lbs sold steady. Heifers 900 - 1000 lbs sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Heifers over 1000 lbs were steady to 2.00 lower on a light test. Demand for this nice offering of heifers was moderate. Much needed rain hit the area for the day, cooling temperatures down by 50 plus degrees, following record temps in the 100's.
