Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder Steers, in most weights, were steady in a narrow comparison with the exception of the 800 - 850 pounds that were lower by 3.00. Feeder Heifers in the 850 - 900 pounds were lower by 4.00, all other weights were unevenly steady. The demand on the part of the buyers was good in a moderate to active market. Buyers discounting open heifers that could not be guaranteed. Flesh conditions of steers and heifers were inconsistent today but with majority green and framy. Next yearling and fall calf special is Sept 4, 2020.
