As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher, a few instances 2.00 to 3.00 lower on cattle carrying too much fill and dirty hides. Demand moderate to good at times. Higher CME Live Cattle futures and boxed beef trade helped to support the market this week. Cattle have gotten dirtier as the rainy dreary days the last two weeks has made it about impossible to keep cattle clean. 12 full loads of steers, balance part loads and stock trailer loads of steers and heifers.

Slaughter lambs 5.00 to 8.00 higher. Feeder lambs not well compared as fewer feeder lambs offered this week. Slaughter ewes rather steady in a narrow comparison. Very good demand for slaughter lambs, moderate demand for feeders, moderate demand for slaughter ewes.
