Compared to last week: Slaughter steers 12.00-14.00 lower. Heifers much lower on a light test. Trade activity mostly moderate on light to moderate demand on the lower offering. Live cattle CME futures settled lower again today closing under $225 on August contract. Boxed beef choice cutout up $20 from the close last Friday. Weekly cattle slaughter continues to diminish.

Slaughter lambs 10.00 to 20.00 lower. Feeder lambs unevenly steady with attractive quality exhibited. Slaughter ewes 13.00 to 20.00 lower on a large offering. Demand moderate with the big supply today with exception to feeder lambs displaying good demand.
