Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Moderate to good demand for steers and heifers, best demand was seen for No Implant steers and heifers. The market was not as active this week on conventional, implanted cattle but it was active on those cattle that had never received an implant. A good offering of longtime fed, high quality grading steers and heifers. 10 full loads of steers, 2 full loads of heifers, balance part loads and stock trailer loads.

Slaughter lambs generally steady. Slaughter ewes steady. Good demand for slaughter lambs, a large supply of those traditional weight lambs and the market was active. Good demand for slaughter ewes.
