Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Good demand for this nice offering of longtime fed, high quality grading steers and heifers. Fewer cattle hauled in overnight as the heat and humidity have made it miserable for livestock, weighing conditions ran more towards the full side as most cattle were hauled in this morning when it was cooler. The market was moderately active.

Slaughter lambs 10.00 to 15.00 higher, except 80-110 lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter ewes not well compared. Good to very good demand for slaughter lambs. A good offering of traditional weight slaughter lambs sold on a very active market.
