Compared to last week: Slaughter steers steady to 1.00 lower, heifers 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Holsteins 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand for this eye appealing offering of fat cattle was moderate. Wide price gaps created by the demand for black cattle. Estimated dressed cost 224.00 - 230.00. CME Live Cattle slightly higher, corn a little lower. Slaughter cows steady to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to 1.00 higher.

Traditional weight slaughter lambs 5.00 to 9.00 higher. Demand for this nice offering was moderate. Light lambs sold with lower undertones. Slaughter ewes Good 4-5 20.00 to 25.00 lower, Good 2-3 5.00 to 8.00 lower, Utility 10.00 to 15.00 lower, Cull to few to make a meaningful comparison.
