Compared to last week: Not enough comparable sales of feeder steers and heifers to make a good comparison, firm to higher undertones prevailed. Good demand for this week's offering of yearling steers and heifers, flesh condition moderate to heavy. Several long strings offered in load lots and multiple load lots. A large consignment of weaned, spring born calves sold on an active market. Much higher CME Live and Feeder Cattle contracts last week, and sharply lower corn helped to support the feeder cattle market .
