Compared to last week Feeder Steers under 600 10.00 to 15.00 lower, 600 to 700 8.00 to 12.00 higher, Feeder Heifers 400 to 450 10.00 to 12.00 lower, 450 to 550 5.00 to 10.00 lower, 550 to 600 10.00 to 15.00 lower, 950 to 1000 Steady, other classes not well compared. Good Demand in the seats and Moderate Demand on the Internet for Many Load Lots and Many Part Loads and Packages of Feeder Steers, Feeder Heifers, and Tested Open Heifers which sold on a Moderate Market initially then transitioned into an Active Market as the sale progressed. Nearly the entire Offering came off grass and carried Light to Moderate Flesh. The presentation was very attractive with clean, open haired cattle with no tagg and a favorable weigh-up; nearly all the Spring Calves were fully vaccinated with both Spring and Fall Shots. The next Feeder Cattle Sale is October 28, expecting 8,000 head.
