Compared to last week Feeder Steers under 400 Steady to 3.00 lower, 400 to 550 2.00 to 4.00 higher, 550 to 650 4.00 to 7.00 higher, Feeder Heifers under 400 Steady, 400 to 550 2.00 to 4.00 lower, 550 to 600 Steady. Good Demand for Several Long Strings, Load Lots, and Many Packages of Feeder Steers and Feeder Heifers which sold on a Strong, Active Market. The vast majority of the Offering was Spring born calves carrying Light to Moderate Flesh and had both Spring and Fall vaccinations. Much of the Offering were clean open haired cattle with a very attractive presentation, some offerings showed some signs of the continued dry, dusty weather displaying a little less luster and maybe some mud from drinking out of dams and dugouts yet all classes found great market acceptance. The Next Feeder Cattle Sale is October 29, expecting 8,500 Spring Calves.
