The majority of the cattle were long time weaned and vaccinated, however, there were still a couple consignments off the cow. Flesh condition varied, from moderate to some heavy flesh at times. Calves were attractive in quality and clean hided. An active market with the market most active on calves which could fit grass or backgrounding programs, especially those selling in load lots. The winter has been mild for this area so far with little to no snow on the ground. Next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, January 16, featuring Red and Black Angus replacement heifers.
