Good to very good demand for today's large calf offering. Many loads and packages of home raised calves all coming off the cow, flesh condition an attractive light to moderate. Demand was still influenced by hide color and shot records, more of today's offering had complete vaccination records. Quality was mostly average to attractive. Many buyers, farmer feeders, and a few bull breeders in the seats, and with the board up over 4.00 on feeder cattle this made for an active market. Temperatures have warmed up and producers are busy in the fields trying to complete harvest. Next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, November 9.
